Bryan has worked in Public Practice since 1999 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003. Whilst working with clients in a vast range of industry sectors over the years he has built up a depth of knowledge and experience which helps provide exactly the type of help and advice required by the firm’s clients, whether they are long-standing or new to us.

Since joining us in May 2016, James has gained his MAAT status following the completion of the Level 4 Diploma in Accounting and has begun his studies towards the ACA qualification to become an ICAEW Chartered Accountant. He has built, and continues to build, his knowledge of all the practical aspects of working in practice which has developed his understanding in both his work and studies currently being undertaken. James is currently assisting in all areas of accounts and VAT preparation work and will soon be adding to his repertoire as his skills and knowledge develop further.

John has gained much experience in the field of Travel & Tourism as well as the Education Sector before adding to his range of skills by qualifying as a Member of the AAT in 2007. He has worked for firms of Chartered Accountants for many years with his primary focus on working closely with Clubs and Associations. He assists many of our clients with their VAT requirements and prepares accounts for multiple types of businesses both incorporated and unincorporated.

Payroll Manager, Liz Graham

Liz started working for us in October 2014. She has a vast amount of payroll knowledge having been working in this area since the early 1970's. During this time she has overseen the payroll compliance requirements of a whole range of businesses and employers. This involves not only the standard tax and national insurance calculations on employee pay but also includes calculations of current entitlements to all of the statutory payments such as sick pay, maternity pay etc.

Since obtaining the AAT qualification in 2000, Helen has gained a vast amount of experience and knowledge in finance and accounting from a wide variety of businesses ranging from global industrial firms to private companies and, more recently, in practice. Her work has involved cost accounting in manufacturing firms to project and management accounting in the private and practice sectors. She has also been involved in auditing work and procedures as well as dealing with asset management companies throughout her career in the accountancy world.

Senior Accountant, Stuart Thomson Cert Ed, MAAT

Stuart has gained a vast amount of accounting experience working in audit and accountancy for a number of different firms since the early 1990's. This experience gives him substantial knowledge of all bookkeeping and VAT procedures along with the ability to prepare accounts and audit papers for all businesses from sole traders to large incorporated entities.

Clair is your first point of contact within the business. She started working for us in October 2021 having previously worked principally within the legal sector. She has gained over 20 years’ experience within administration and office management to ensure the office runs smoothly in an efficient manner. With her warm and friendly personality, she will deal with your incoming queries or direct you to the person best able to assist you.
