James joined us in May 2016, being then his first foray into the accounting world, gaining his MAAT status following the completion of the Level 4 Diploma in Accounting and since recognising FMAAT status through ongoing training, study and upholding high practice standards. He has become well versed in all areas of personal and business accounting with a focus toward business bookkeeping, VAT, corporation tax and financial reporting in a wide range of industries. With continual development improving skill and knowledge James will provide professional accounting services for years to come to all our clients.

Senior Accountant, Jay McNally, MAAT AATQB

Jay has worked in the accountancy profession since 2016. His experience began with VAT and bookkeeping, which then progressed onto the preparation of annual financial statements. Jay has completed his AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification and went on to become MAAT (full membership) as well as AATQB (bookkeeping membership). He has also started working towards his ACA qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Jay is also continuing to widen his knowledge with other areas of accountancy such as business tax and personal tax, both practically and through study.

Liz started working for us in October 2014. She has a vast amount of payroll knowledge having been working in this area since the early 1970's. During this time she has overseen the payroll compliance requirements of a whole range of businesses and employers. This involves not only the standard tax and national insurance calculations on employee pay but also includes calculations of current entitlements to all of the statutory payments such as sick pay, maternity pay etc.

Assistant Accountant, Emma Morton

Emma joined the company in August 2023 as an Accounts Assistant having already obtained the AAT Level 3 qualification and looks forward to studying towards her AAT Level 4 in due course. She has built, and continues to build, her knowledge of all the practical aspects of working in an accountancy practice.  Emma is currently assisting in all areas of accounts, VAT preparation work and pension compliance work and will soon be adding to her repertoire as her skills and knowledge develop further.

Stuart has gained a vast amount of accounting experience working in audit and accountancy for a number of different firms since the early 1990's. This experience gives him substantial knowledge of all bookkeeping and VAT procedures along with the ability to prepare accounts and audit papers for all businesses from sole traders to large incorporated entities.
